Do all of us really need a laptop? It surely looks that way because demand is sky high. The battery shortage obstacle is not going to aide things either. I think the unlucky thing for manufacturers is that it doesn’t look like any factor will slow this demand for laptop computers. I think we are seeing greater numbers of start-up companies exclusively peddling custom built laptops. The main advantages here are the fact that you can usually get better third party components in custom laptops. I admire the fact that you can sometimes even ask for what components you require. Mass market laptops are not manufactured with particular customers in mind and this could pose an issue. Custom made laptops are about for this reason. They fulfil needs that others cannot. I like that fact that there are plenty of small sized resellers giving good service for custom laptops. To a couple of buyers this is very significant.

Tons of awesome laptops are coming out in the coming months. Except from what has previously been mentioned UMPC’s are also massive thing witnessing a rise this year. Its strange how devices designed for the 3rd world nations have become a buzz in the developed countries. People require laptops that are light but also large enough to be practical and user friendly. Rigid enclosures needed for such laptops are still too pricey. By Analysing the trends it looks like gaming laptops will become slimmer and more powerful. I really don’t know what to expect apart from those concepts spoken of. Some Manufacturer is modifying a gadget to be different in a saturated market.
