UK Communications fails to purge child porn from networks

Earlier in the 2000s, the UK government pledged to restrict access to all pedophile web servers, to prevent the continuation of child pornography markets. According to studies, over one million households have the capacity to access these web pages, which are known to host illicit images of child sex abuse. Despite the governmental pledge, it has become apparent that the UK still lacks the capability to fulfill this task.

Last night, in honor of this cause, a coalition of children’s charities assembled as a means to protest the situation which is at hand. Collectively, the charities have contacted the necessary authorities, urging these superiors to take immediate action regarding the situation. Such activity should be completely discontinued, as customers are still able to view pornographic images, which often display abused children as young as one years old.

As a course to impede this activity, the UK government has implemented a system which restricts consumer access to these sites. Unfortunately, a fair amount of providers refuse to comply, leaving their consumers susceptible to these websites. Of all broadband providers in the UK, it is presumed that almost five percent permit still tolerate the admission to such pedophile websites.

The new prevention scheme, titled the Internet Watch Foundation, comprises a list of illegal websites, updated daily by government facilities.
