There is one great city that everyone would love to visit, that is New York City. There is so much to do there that you can make it a week long trip and never get bored. You can find a New York travel guide online and plan your trip out, or just go and wing it. There are national monuments, such as the Statue of Liberty, that one can visit during the day, and lots of night scenes, such as Broadway.

If money is not an issue, New York City is the place to be for shopping as well. You can find the high end stores on Fifth Avenue and shop like a movie star. There are also other stores that are fun just to walk around in. M&M world is one that comes to mind. This store is great for the little ones, as it is filled with many colors, and not to mention lots of candy. If you are a Sex and the City fan you can experience one of the tours dedicated to the series (and movie). Sadly, you will not find Sarah Jessica Park writing on her laptop in a Starbucks Café.

If you are planning to stay over night the best thing to do is to reserve a hotel before the trip. In New York City it is hard to find a last minute hotel as the city is always filled with tourists. And with the current economy and exchange rate the hordes of tourists from Europe won’t die off either.
