As this is the only official Brighton Pride magazine this is the best source of information about where to be and what to do including the, main event on Preston Park and the Carnival Parade.Pride in Brighton & Hove was delighted to announce the theme for this year’s celebrations in Autumn last year. Following a record number of suggestions from Pride members and the public the Board of Trustees and Staff unanimously voted for the theme ‘Pride Beside The Seaside’ a suggestion made by Saskia Jackson from Hove.Pride in Brighton & Hove promotes equality and diversity, and advances education to eliminate discrimination against the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT) community. It raises awareness of these issues by facilitating and promoting a series of events including Winter Pride and the annual free summer festival. It also fulfils its objectives by making grants and/or donations to other charitable and voluntary organisations.
