Could you fancy going through the effort of a luxury wedding without making it mean something? Permit me to shamelessly promote the Boyd family’s storied wedding tradition. Perhaps if you’re from the Chicago metro, you know we hold a substantial history for planning incredible luxury weddings.

We eat, breathe and fantasize about weddings. And we’re thankful to know more than a handful of wedding fashion experts, photographers and hair dressers. Aunt Sherry is a wildly-successful wedding singer songwriter and violinist–there’s nobody better. Over the last few days we’ve evaluated the creme de la creme of wedding vendors about Chicago wedding resources. Obviously, I grew up around wedding planning. As a professional luxury wedding planner without a minute to spare, I am at long last planning my own wedding with a little insight from my colleagues. And what’s more, I am deliriously in love. Some speculate I’ve been lifted off my feet by the most wonderful guy.

Caroline, my luxury wedding cake vendor vendor and I, are inseparable and best friends. She a bit behind us, me and my soon-to-be husband Oggie Bear. The other day, we pulled out the vintage video footage of Aunt Sasha’s horrifically tacky Dallas wedding. Good times funny, but trends come and go. There’s a lesson about class if you look close enough.

I’m so excited for my wedding. My father is so generous to be taking care of all the reservations, and the reception will be at perhaps the greatest hotels! I dare not reveal to you when and where cause who needs wedding crashers. It’s a great time to be alive, ringing in our love with friends and family. We can all admit that’s what a luxury wedding is truly about. Cheers to the spirit of living.
